 Diesel, A Bookstore in Brentwood is pleased to present screenwriter, director and producer Daniel Pyne as he discusses and signs his new literary thriller, Twentynine Palms, on Sunday, September 19 at 3pm. Daniel Pyne is a visiting professor at the UCLA Graduate School of Film and a writing adviser for the Sundance Institute. He wrote the acclaimed scripts for The Manchurain Candidate (2004), Pacific Heights, and Fracture, among others. Twentynine Palms is his first novel. He lives in Los Angeles.
