 Diesel, A Bookstore in Brentwood and Live Talks Los Angeles present Robert Reich in conversation with Kai Ryssdal about Reich's new book, Aftershock: The Next Economy and America's Future, at Zipper Hall at The Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 29 at 8pm. Robert Reich is Professor of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley. He has served in three national administrations, most recently as secretary of labor under President Bill Clinton. He has written ten books, including The Work of Nations, which has been translated into twenty-two languages, Supercapitalism, and the best sellers The Next American Frontier, The Future of Success, and Locked in the Cabinet. In 2003, Reich was awarded the prestigious Vaclav Havel Foundation Prize for pioneering work in economic and social thought. Kai Ryssdal is host of public radio’s Marketplace.
