Diesel, A Bookstore in Oakland welcomes The Diesel Readers back to the store to discuss When the Killing's Done by T.C. Boyle on Monday, July 16th at 7pm.Set on the Channel Islands off the California coast, T.C. Boyle's new novel is a gripping adventure with a timely theme. Alma Boyd Takesue is a National Park Service biologist; her antagonist, Dave LaJoy, is a local businessman who will go to any lengths to subvert her plans.
