Susan Silver discusses and signs "Hot Pants in Hollywood"

Hot Pants In Hollywood is a show biz memoir, and much more. It's a Baby Boomer's life on steroids. Susan Silver was one of the first female TV comedy writers, with credits like The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, Maude, and Square Pegs, among others. It is about reinventing yourself, finding love and creating a passionate life, from someone who has done so. It's funny, moving, inspirational, and sexy too.
Susan Silver was a trailblazing comedy writer and cultural commentator. She has written for The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, Maude, The Partridge Family and Square Pegs. She has appeared on CNN, HLN, Good Day NY and Today, and has written for The New York Times and Refinery 29. Susan attended Northwestern University and graduated from UCLA, and has taught comedy at the Television Academy and New School as well as lectured at the Paley Center, SCAD, and Brandeis University.
Bruce Ferber built a long and successful career as a television comedy writer and producer. A multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, his credits include Bosom Buddies, Growing Pains, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Coach, and Home Improvement, where he served as Executive Producer and showrunner. In addition to being recognized by the Television Academy, Ferber's work has received the People's Choice, Kid's Choice, and Environmental Media Awards.
After the publication of his debut novel Elevating Overman, which is now currently being developed for the big screen, Ferber toured extensively, delivering the closing keynote speech at Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop. He lives in Southern California with his wife, large dog, and assorted musical instruments.
