Grant Hazard melds minimalist melodic compositions with ambient textures.  Along with a variety of composers including Satie, Debussy and Chopin, his primary influences for this project are Bohren & der Club of Gore, Brian Eno and Stars of the Lid.  A classically trained pianist who grew up in Golden, Colorado, he is a member of The Very Hush Hush and has shared the stage with many talented musicians including Okkervil River, TV on the Radio and Stereolab.  Genus Euphony is his first solo record.
