When Librarians Get Feisty

On Monday, September 21, Jon Michaud and Erin Overbey, The New Yorker's librarians, launched Back Issues, a space in which they will "delve through more than eighty years of New Yorker history, with an eye to relating that history to the happenings of the day."

Featuring contributions from the New Yorker's staff, Back Issues will "plumb the archive for Profiles of people making news now, look into previous coverage of long-standing issues, and seek out notable pieces that feel as relevant today as when they were first published."
