Weekly Update, July 26th, 2021
April is National Poetry Month! We'll be celebrating all month long by sharing videos of us reading some of our favorite poems.
As Emily Dickinson says, "If I read a book and it makes my whole body so cold no fire can warm me, I know that is poetry. If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry." So stay tuned for videos of us reading poetry that blows our heads off!
You can watch all of our poetry videos on our Instagram (@dieselbookstore & @dieseldelmar) or on our DIESEL Video webpage.
John reads “Under a Soprano Sky” from Collected Poems by Sonia Sanchez.
