Join us Sunday September 17th at 3 pm as we welcome Dr. Regine Muradian to the store to read and sign her new book, "Francine and Her Special Talents" and other books. 

Francine and Her Special Talents helps children discover and explore their own unique talents. Francine's Aunt Nancy and cousins are coming for a visit. Usually, Francine is excited about their arrival, but on this particular day she's down in the dumps. She's tried out for two of her favorite sports at school, but didn't make any of the teams. Her mom tries to console her, but she's still too angry and frustrated to listen. Then, her aunt suggests they take a walk. Francine says yes because her aunt usually finds a way to comfort her. As Francine tells her what happens, her aunt guides her into seeing all the wonderful activities she's interested in and could potentially master. By the end of the story, she and her cousins are sharing their different passions and Francine is excited about and looking forward to focusing on the activities she loves best.

Franky and the Worry Bees --  Do you have worry bees? You know, those buzzing sounds that enter your brain when you are anxious or concerned about something. Franky had a very bad case of the worry bees. Then, he shared what was happening to him with his mom and his dad. He was surprised to hear that they had worry bees too! With some gentle tips from his mom, Franky starts conquering his worry bees. He shares valuable tips on how to stop listening to them.

Dr. Regine is a licensed clinical psychologist, children’s author, speaker and expert TV commentator. Dr. Regine is a national and international sought after media expert on a wide variety of topics. She has been featured but not limited to: NBC, ABC, Cheddar, Good Day LA, MSN, Huffington Post, Nike, HLN, and CBS. Dr. Regine is  a children’s author focusing on helping kids feel empowered and self confident. She received her undergraduate degree in International Relations/Business Marketing from the University of Southern California. She also received a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology followed by Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Children, Adolescents and Families. She completed her training at Cedars Sinai, Children’s Hospital and the Glen Roberts Child Study Center
