Diesel, A Bookstore in Oakland is proud to welcome renowned cartoonist and local legend Daniel Clowes back to the store to discuss and sign his new graphic novel, Mister Wonderful, on Thursday, April 21 at 7pm.

First serialized in The New York Times Magazine and now collected with 40 pages of new material, Mister Wonderful is a captivating, bittersweet, and hilarious look at the potential for human connection in an increasingly hopeless world.

Daniel Clowes is the author of the seminal comic book series Eightball, the screenwriter of Ghost World and Art School Confidential, and an illustrator for the New Yorker. He is married and lives in Oakland, California.
