ZYZZYVA at Diesel Bookstore

Diesel, A Bookstore in Oakland welcomes local contributors Jennifer duBois, John W. Evans, Andy Stewart, and E.G. Willy to the store to celebrate the release of ZYZZYVA: The Winter Issue on Friday, January 25th at 7pm.

ZYZZYVA, the San Francisco literary journal dedicated since 1985 to publishing the work of the West Coast’s best poets, writers, and artists, invites to you to a night of dazzling literature (to say nothing of drink and snacks.)

Jennifer duBois is the author of the critically-acclaimed novel A Partial History of Lost Causes.  In 2012, she was honored by the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 program.

John W. Evans’s poems have appeared in Slate, The Missouri Review, Boston Review, and The Gettysburg Review, among other publications. Evans is the Jones Lecturer in poetry at Stanford University.
