Looking for some fun summer activities for your kiddos? Join us Thursdays starting June 16th at 10:30 am for Storytime with Diversify Our Narrative!

Diversify Our Narrative is a nationwide, student-led nonprofit that focuses on implementing more inclusive, diverse texts into school curriculum across the country, in order to increase representation of people from different backgrounds in everyday learning environments. Tell OurStory is an initiative associated with the local chapter of DON: we focus on fostering skills such as empathy and tolerance in young children, and encourage them to gain an appreciation for different people’s perspectives. We give presentations and lead activities with local middle schools- this year, we focused on addressing racism and stereotypes in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
